Monna has been working in the visual arts arena for well over a decade and is probably best known for his contemporary art gallery, Gallery Momo in Parktown North, South Africa. Committed to creating and developing opportunities for contemporary artists.

“The quality of work and ideas is where we are at and that means we are keen to embrace challenging artists who are courageous and interested in hard issues. We are also interested in work that is charming and intent on creating delight, but our focus is clear – good work.”

With strong knowledge of all the arts disciplines and contemporary trends, Lesley has a personal bent for work that creates place and makes a meaningful (long-term) difference to neighbourhood.

“I want to take all my years of suffering through spreadsheets in the private sector and put them to good use – see many artists working, see plenty of experiments and be part of creating what it takes to get artists to realise their potential. I am also pursuing my double life as a stand-up tragedian.”

AAW! could not have fabricated this online place in the world without the great people with whom we work. Most special mention and thanks to Nadine Hutton - most of the images on this site are her genius.

AAW! works with artists across disciplines. Here are a few of our favourite links to some of the most gifted, a little fun, friends and family.
